What To Do When Your Bored In School!
Hey chicas! It's Dev.
I know that so many of us are bored just sitting there, listening to the teacher drone on and on about the Civil War. Well, make class fun!
--------------------------------------------------------------------
- daydream
- doodle
- play with your pen, twirling it around your fingers
- guys love to shake their legs
- check the time every minute
- draw the teacher and pass it
- talk to far classmates by passing messages on a piece of paper; old school is just more fun
- text "pssst.. what are you doing?" to a classmate
- nibble on the pen/ pencil
- tap the pen/ pencil on the table
- irritate a girl (in front of you) by playing with her hair
- sway your leg
- exercise your toes by picking up things with them
- do some eye exercises, draw the letters a to z with your eyeballs
- stare at darker color things to rest your mind
- think of what to do after the class
- play tag with your friends while sitting down
- guess who sent you the message/ piece of paper
- play pictionary or charades while teacher is writing something on the board
- talk to someone from afar by using sign language - a good way to cheat too

This is from yahoo answers! Trust me I look up more and they were funny but things you'd get in trouble for;)
HTG: YOUR GUIDE TO GETTING MORE FOLLOWERS ON POLYVORE
hey guys this is Namara! :) so this tip was requested by @alexandria-love-disney-and-dance :) I've decided to make this into a segment, so your be seeing tips on how to get lots of followers on twitter and tumblr and possibly facebook (if you guys want me to do one on facebook...) in upcoming sets from me. :)

this tip is about how to gain more followers on Polyvore. I know from experience its hard to do, but by following these simple steps, you'll work your way to being very popular on Polyvore! :D

What to do;
-Polyvore was originally supposed to be a fashion community, but look at what we evolved it into! Its an amazing community. People come to this site to express themselves and help others. Show that by making unique and beautiful sets that are eye-catching. :)
-I've noticed that descriptions are getting shorter and shorter, so don't try too hard on your descriptions; maybe say why you made it (if there's a specific reason), and just say something inspirational. You can also talk about something that's going on in your life.
-It also helps if you do random tagging. Steal a bunch of other people's tags. Some of them on the tag list might not be following you, but they might if you tag them. Also, just random tag people who are following you. Doing all of this helps your set spread across Polyvore and help you gain more followers! :D
-You can ask some of your Polyvore friends to advertise you in a set of theirs. (btw everyone who sees this must/should follow @alexandria-love-disney-and-dance )
-Have a simple, but inspiring and funny profile description. Don't make it seem like your desperate.
-Make sets often. It draws people to you.
-search up random usernames and follow them. They may follow back! if they don't you can always unfollow them.

I hope this helped! ( if anyone else has more suggestions that I missed since I'm multitasking and watching ellen, please let me know! :) )

Breakups and food
Hey people its Lucy xoxo
Ok so this isn't all about boys (for the single people out there like me)
its just for when your feeling down and how to pick yourself up again.
KEEP AN EMERGENCY FEELING SAD KIT
my friend suggested this to me as a joke but its actually a great idea. Get a cardboard box, pop in a pack of tissues, a movie, a pillow, a teddy bear, a bowl, spoon and stuff for ice cream, your favourite book/s and a jar of candy.
push the box under your bed/on top of your wardrobe and use in emergencies.
TIPS
always listen to music. don't go with sad music that is similaar to your mood. sometimes people say that listening to sad music makes you feel "understood". whatever. listen to angry music or really happy music. one will let you get all your feelings out, the other will cheer you up.
read a good book-not a romance :)
CHOCOLATE
chocolate mimics the feeling we get when we falll in love so it creates a natural drug that makes you feel happy. it also lowers blood pressure.
TURKEY- relaxes you and makes you feel good.
VITAMIN B- cheers you up so go for orange juice, milk, chicken and cereals.
TEA-you can tell I'm from England...soothes you and calms you.
ICECREAM-it tastes great. its cold and creamy and helps get rid of the tears and headaches and heartache.
POPCORN
amazing to eat with a chick flit movie. Melted butter and salt or sweet and sugary or gooey toffee, whatever you want. watch mean girls, mamma mia, pitch perfect, letters to Juliet anything you can think of that is a real girly thing.
PIZZA
eat slices dripping in melted cheese...mmmm
also great to eat whilst watching movies
Basically, you need a huge box of tissues. Cry your eyes out until you have no tears left. Yell until your throat is sore. Get it all out of your system. Then grab a teddy bear and a soft blanket, snuggle up with some treats and watch a movie. When thats over listen to some music and/or read a good book. Drink plenty of hot chocolate and tea to keep yourself warm and happy. Wait aprox. a full 24 hours before calling your friends and getting together for a sleepover or a day out. Sometimes your friends are a good shoulder to cry on, (and they give better hugs than teddies) but sometimes its easier to be alone at first. Even little things could remind you about your ex.
Anyways, if in doubt eat ice cream. CURES EVERYTHING.
if you need to complain about your horrible ex, or tell someone about your relationship disasters, just PM my personal account @lucylocket101
I can give you some advice without you actually having to face the real world.
good luck x

Line Nail Art

Line Nail Art
So whazz up, sorry I just can't talk like that. Ok so I believe a fellow reader had wanted a tape nail art tip, but the thing is there are tons of styles, so here is just a real simple one.

Line Nail Art:
1. Have your nails already dry and painted a solid color. But you can't have had topcoat already on it.
2. Paint your the tape the desired color(s)
3. Cut up the tape and then place it on your nails vertically.
4. Overlap then horizontally.
5. Cut off hanging off the nail tape.
6. Top coat here we go!

Disclaimer: I am not, nor are other tip girls with difficulties you have the tape coming off. I have not tried this look yet so I have no idea if it is a pain to take off or not.
How To Get Beach Waves Without Heat!
Hey girls! Its Dev.
I know summer is coming, and that means looking cute at the beach! This is the time of year when a lot of our hair is damaged from straightening our hair at school and being in chlorine, so try not to use heat with this!
------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Shampoo and condition hair. Use a good conditioner that moisturizes and shines.
2. Towel dry, not all the way. Dry it 15%.
3. After that, use a De-tangling spray and brush the knots out. This helps so you won't have knotty curls or messy.
4. If you like, put in a leave in conditioner so your hair would be soft. I recommend it. Also put some on the ends too.
5. Put mousse in your entire hair, now don't put too much because then its going to look like more crunchy waves/curls and not that natural look when you're done with this routine.
6. Now it's time to put in the foam rollers. Section your hair and take a foam roller, start at the ends and roll til the roots.
7. Repeat step 6 until your head is covered with rollers.
8. Put on hair spray.
9. Now it's time to sleep on with the rollers or air dry them until they're dry.
10. Once dry, take the foam rollers off and style your lovely waves/ curls. Add hair-spray then a moisturizing lotion/balm!

Enjoy! Requested by @avajillianjordan

How To Make Playdough!

10 days ago - 335 views
How To Make Playdough!
Hey guys! Its Dev.
I know this is kinda little kiddish, but I love little kid things!
-------------------------------------------------------------
Materials:
2 cups flour
2 cups warm water
1 cup salt
2 Tablespoons vegetable oil
1 Tablespoon cream of tartar (optional for improved elasticity)
food coloring (liquid, powder, or unsweetened drink mix)

1. Mix all ingredients but the coloring and stir over low heat. When the dough pulls away from the sides and clumps in the center, as shown below, remove the pan from heat and allow the dough to cool enough to handle. If sticky, you need to cook longer.
3. Turn the dough out onto a clean counter or silicone mat, and knead vigorously until it becomes silky-smooth. Divide the dough into balls for coloring. Make a divot in the center of the ball, and drop some food coloring in. Fold the dough over, working the food color through the body of the playdough, trying to keep the raw dye away from your hands and the counter. You could use gloves or plastic wrap at this stage to keep your hands clean- only the concentrated dye will color your skin, so as soon as it's worked in bare hands are fine. Work the dye through, adding more as necessary to achieve your chosen color. If you use unsweetened drink mix for color, test on a small ball first- it won't go as far as the "real" food coloring.
4. Put in a plastic container!

Enjoy.
